"Talo I"

3 Sentence Story:

While designing a logo for a local Hawaiian podcast, I drew a talo leaf that I really liked. I started to iterate off of that original leaf and came to this piece. Two things I really like about this piece are, one, the style of the illustration with pieces of lines/borders, and then the use of pink; largely, I do no see this shade of pink in Samoan art.
