"Tatau"

3 Sentence Story:

This piece was an ode to my days in primary school back in Samoa where all us boys would just sketch tattoo or 'tatau' designs in our notebooks. We would show off the ones we did and get ideas from each. This piece takes that experience and translate to my Stanford freshman year experience: one band for each quarter of the year, starting from the Stanford 'S' to the end line at the bottom.
